Master Cut Tourmaline

This custom project had seveal challenges to overcome, but The result speaks for itself as a beautiful and stunning tribute to the gem it holds.

Cut by Master Cut Gems, this Afghanistan Tourmaline is over 21 carats, and is quite large.  The stone is naturally dark, so the setting had to be open and airy to allow light to enter the stone, but still strong enough to hold this larger gemstone.

The unique cut also meant that the ring had to be designed from the ground up; a completely bespoke project, for this one of a kind gemstone.

The ring is crafted mostly in sterling silver.  The end prongs are 14k yellow gold.  Set in the ends of the end rails are 4- round black diamonds.
